Congratulation for getting good answer from IND.

How long should you have to wait till your citizenship ceremony in Thurrock?

It took me 10 days for group ceremony and Individual u must wait for 3 weeks. Good luck man

I've noticed quite a lot of people on the board who've had their apps back within a few weeks.  Which begs the question:  why, then, does the official guidance say it's more like 6 months for the average processing time?  are you guys the exception rather than the rule?

well done, in any case.  hope mine goes through that fast when the time comes!  :)

Seleco,

Unfortunately, Thurrock is giving me the earliest date on 22nd October for a ceremony. I wish I had selected another Borough. Any ideas???

If you do not have any trip abroad u can wait other wise u may use Individual Ceremony which is quite expensive. Some borough they charge £57 for Individual (Ilford).

If you want to change the Borough for ceremony, they must contact the Home Office first before they can be able to transfer you to another Borough.

Better Individual Ceremony. It is more faster(3 to 7 days) appointment may be given.

I was under the impression that the ceremony fee was included in the application. Or is that only for group ceremonies?

Fee is included for the group ceremony only. For individual cermony it may vary, last time someone mentioned £100, today someone mentioned 57.
