i am due to apply for citizenship in august,n have heard it takes a while to get the citizenship so is it okay to travel abroad when the application is being processed?

I am planning to submit thru NCS so I will get my passport back,am I right?

If you make your application through NCS as you have said, you will keep your original passport and you will be free to travel.
