i would like some information about my friend who is in India and is an indian citizen.he got married in 1987 to a British Overseas Citizen (she was entitled to readmission to the uk) .since then they were living in India and have a son born in India who is 14 years old now. the son has got an indian passport at the moment and studing in India.unfortunately my friend's wife died  at the age of 36 years in June 2003. my question is about the son's entitlement. is he eligible for British Nationality on mother's ground??

i would really appreciate some advise regarding this.
