You can apply anytime after 24th june, 2007 as that will complete your 3 years provided:
YOu have not spent more then 90 days in the last 12 months out side of UK
And total time spent outside of UK in last three years does not exceed 270 days.

Lastly you must be present three years prior to your application in UK. So if you apply on 30th of June 2007, you must have been present in UK on 30 June, 2004. you can take the test anytime you want. I prefer you do it one month prior to applying.
British Passport can be applied as soon as you get your citizenship

I GOT  MY SETTLEMENT VISA THROUGH MARRIAGE  ON 24 JUNE 2004.i GOT MY INDEFINIT LEAVE TO REMAIN  IN UK VISA ON 1 AUGUST 2006.BUT MY NAME WAS SPELLED WRONG SO I HAD TO SEND IT BACK WHICH THEY RETURN IN OCTOBER 10 2006.SO CAN U TELL ME  WHEN SHOULD I APPLY FOR  BRITISH PASSPOT.AS THE NEW  DATE ON THE IINDEFINIT STAY STAMOP IS  10 OCTOBER 2006.SO CAN U TELL ME WHEN SHOULD I APPLY FOR BRITISH PASSPORT ALSO CAN I  TAKE THE LIFE IN UK TEST  4  OR 5 MONTH BEFORE I HAVE TO APPLY FOR BRITISH PASSPORT.
