If you have already qualify, I would have said that you should apply via your nearest council or borough that does the service called checking centre where you passports and other original documents will be checked, photocopied and returned to you. They will do the posting for you.

But your situation is little bit different. Travel and make sure you don not spend up to 3 months out of UK otherwise you will not be qualified and will need to apply after 1 year.

Thank you anonymous. Even if I travel now I would not be outside of the UK more than 90 days. Do you still think I can apply through council?

Rather than being impatient, I would say, travel out of UK, and when you are back in UK then apply and have peace of mind. I come across many people who just stress themselves by making applications when the schedule is tight.

No point rushing. Travel in peace, and when you are back, make application with a cool head. Then you won't have to worry about anything.

Hi. I am due to apply for naturalisation in two month but there is an emergency and I must leave UK. Is it possible to leave my application form with the office and get my passport and they send my documents when is due? Thanks for your advice
