I can confirm that you can have the test questions read out to you by the computer. I know few people who had difficulty reading and they had this facility from the test centre.

I do not know the details but you certainly need to pre-arrange with your test centre. Perhaps they can give you more details.

Hello there

You certainly can have the test read out to you. I was having problems with my vision that day and the test centre easily changed the size of the font on screen for me so that it was easier for me to see.  As I was having vision problems he also offered me the option of audio - I didn't use it, but all he had to do was attach a pair of headphones to the computer which he did in about 2 seconds.  Looked like there was a small icon under each question so that you could click on it to hear it read out loud.

I agree that you should probably check in advance with your test centre, but they certainly seemed happy enough to try to help me on the day - I hadn't warned them about my vision problem and they reset that in no time.

Good luck!

Is this true? I have read about this and would like to know if anyone has experienced this, if you have then please could explain HOW the test questions and options are read out.....

Are the questions and options read out to you once you hover over each part with the mouse or is it set automatically?

Do you need to let the test center know that you would like this facility or is it available to everyone taking the test?

Thank you, any information on the above would be much appreciated.

You are advised to inform the test centre of vision difficulties when booking.  They can adjust font size and colours. There is also the option of audio as described.

You should also be allowed longer to take the test.  Its usually 45 mins but you may/should be allowed (up to?) 90 minutes.

If you are completely blind or unable to use a mouse I believe other arrangements need to be made.
