Page 28 of Guide AN(NEW) says:

"ALL APPLICATIONS FOR NATURALISATION AS A BRITISH CITIZEN
Evidence of identity
  • Applicant?s birth certificate OR
  • Applicant? driving licence OR
  • Bank, building society or credit card statement issued to the applicant in the last 6 months"

Page 30 of Guide AN(NEW) says:

"WHERE AN APPLICATION IS BEING MADE FOR ONE OR MORE OF THE APPLICANT?S CHILDREN TO BE REGISTERED AS A BRITISH CITIZEN ON THE SAME APPLICATION FORM
  • Each child?s full birth certificate AND
  • Each child?s passport of entry to the United Kingdom, and any subsequent passports AND
  • The parents? marriage certificate
Please note - only include children who are not already British"

Hi! I want to apply for naturalisation on 5yrs basis with my family i.e my wife and children .Can you explane is it necessary to send birth and marriage certificates alongwith application forms to home office or only our passports are enough to prove our marriage and birthof our children. all of us have a passport with an indefinite leave to remain in uk sticker.        regards
