My wife has been been living in UK for more than 3 years and meets all the criterias on stay in UK. When we married my citizenship was not British.

I received my British citizenship only 6 months ago.

Now can she apply for British citizenship based on marraige to a British Citizen?  Or she will have to wait for 5 Years??

Your wife needs to be min 3 years to apply as a "wife of a British citizin"

I did the same, I submitted my wife's nationality application the very next day after my ceremony, even the lady at the nationality checking service was not convinced I can do that and she phoned the home office and they said yes no problem.
