I heard that the new rules for PR and citizenship is going to be discussed in parliament next november and new rules will be lounged by next April 09. Is that right? i came to UK 0n Oct 03 on a work permit but initial one year student nurse visa (unlucky me). I am bit worried as basiclaly i was suppose to apply for PR by sep 08 but I had a student nurse visa although I was on a workpermit for the first year. so I dont know whether they allow me to qualify for PR this sep 08. If not then I have to wait until august 09. so is the rule going to change by then. Is PR only going to be dream for me? Please help me?
