Dear Sarah,

Your 3 years period for Naturalization starts from the issue date of your fiance' visa not the spouse one.

You can apply for your children only if first, they are under 18, second, you get their ILR along with yourself, this July.

For both ILR and Naturalization, if your children are under 18, you just need to put their names in your own application form, provide the needed documents, and pay the fee.

Good luck!

Hi

I originally came to the UK with a 'fiance visa' and have since married my husband entitling me to a 'spouse visa', both gave me limited leave to remain status. I will be applying for indefinite leave to remain this November.

Firstly, from which visa start date can I measure my 3 year naturalization period?

Secondly, will my children be able to apply for naturalization at the same time (they arrived in the UK at the same time as me (July 2007))?

Hope you can help!

Thanks

Sarah.
