I am holding a Turkish passport and here in the UK with Tier 1 visa. I need to exten the visa in 3 months time but in the applicastion form there is a question about the benefits. On my Tier 1 visa, it says, no recourse to public funds but then I talked to HMRC they had said that ther are some exceptions for Tuskish citizens even your passport says no recource to public funds. I am concerned that home office workers may not know the details of this situaation. Is there anybody who knows what kind of documents I can supply with my application or is there anybody in the same situation with me as there are also some exceptions for some other countries.
