I submitted my application for naturalisation yesterday and was told by the lady at the NCS that there may be delays in receiving an acknowledgement letter from the HO due to a staff "shake up" going on at present . Not sure how true this is or how long it's expected to last but i thought i'd mention it incase anyone reading this forum is twiddling their thumbs and wondering why they haven't heard anything .
