What does this person do in the home office?

Home office is a very big government department. Immigration is only a part of the work they do. In england and wales alone, there are more that 130, 000 police officers, they are all part of home office.

Passport service is also part of home office. Criminal records bureau and national fraud office is under home office, etc etc

Can you ask this guy again what does he exactly do in home office?  He might be a cleaner in home office.

hi all
i am non EEA national i came UK in -21-06-2009 with six months visa after that i got residence card 01-09-2010 valid to 01-9-2015 i spoke someone who works home office and he said to me you will be illegible
in 2015 when my residence card finished has anybody any idea because in 2014 i live 5 years in uk

when will i be illegible permanent residence in 2014 or 2015
