Were the points on your license given as a result of Fixed Penalty Notice, or were you summoned to court, convicted and given points?

Fixed penalty points

Fixed Penalty Notice ( and the points as its result) are not regarded as convictions under the rehabilitation of offenders act. Hence they do not count against applicants. Fixed penalty notice is not required to be disclosed on the UKBA application forms.
