I am asked to pay £40 at Wolverhampton test centre for using head phones and without them we can't take test.Did called UK helpline all she could do was verify test fees including vat  £34 and asked me to contact homeoffice.

TBG centre at Birmingham does uses headphones but test fees is still the same £34.

I have written them about the fee and awaits their answer. I will keep everyone upto date. If they can justify then we will ask Home Office about their justification.

I wonder if anyone already paid over £34 pounds and took the test. Surely they should be issued a refund.

I would like to update first page once I hear from you.
