I have looked at the application that is needed to be filled out for the "Life in the UK test"  In the application it says a person has to be in the UK for 3 years & have references who have known you for more then 3 years.  Now on the Direct Nationality website it says that a spouse only has to be over here for 2 years for probation.  So which is it 2 years or 3 years?  Seems like the 2 websites are contradicting each other.  Has anybody else noticed this?
