There is no reason for them to do credit check on you; you are not borrowing money. What they want to see is a good behaviour and that normally means not commiting to any major offence.

Hi

I was wondering if they perform credit checks when I apply for naturilization on the grounds of residency. I was caught shoplifting and served with a fine in a civil recovery scheme which I have not yet paid. Do I need to declare this?

Will they check my past addresses for any unpaid bills?

I have never been to court but, along with the shoplifiting, recieved a police caution for class c controlled substance at a festival. do I need to declare this?
