Hi everyone,
Please kindly help me with the issues below:
I currntly holding Spouse Visa since Mar 2008, which means I will be able to apply for ILR on Mar 2010.
But the thing is, I've overstayed outside the UK for about 8 months during the 2 yrs spouse visa period due to the personal reasons.
Would be very much appreciate if anyone can give me advice. should i just apply for ILR directly on Mar 2010 or i better to appy for extension for make up the 2 year spouse visa period?
BTW,i've passed the life in UK test.

I think you can apply for ILR as long as you can prove you stayed in contact with your spouse during this time. It has to be 2 years from first entering the UK, I don't know if there is a maximum time period you can spend out of the UK. My husband spent about 7.5 months out of the UK during his 2 year period and it was fine. This was not all in one go though.
