as per my knowledge. You cannot apply for ILR.

if old rules, you had to spend 2 year (i thnk) before you can apply.
As per new rules, you have to spend 5years (i thnk) to apply for ILR.

You will be given extensions in both cases and i think you have to apply seperately for your extensions.

  I got married in february  8 th. and then got Dependent  visa at 17 th february and then i came here. my husband is here since 5 years  and   he is going to apply for  ILR  . the question is can i apply for ILR with him ? because my husband is going to apply in this october and i have completed only 8 months with him .
