How are you planning to apply? Work permit applications are made by employers not by employees.

Since the trust could not sponsor me i am planning to apply back home in the philippines. i know i wont be able to do it here. i just need to know if its worth applying by myself and pay the application. all i've got is a letter from my matron and manager which will contain a strong support for my application. could you please give me advise regarding this?

Perhaps the question is 'what will you apply for?'

You cannot apply for a work permit, it has to be applied by the employer.

You can apply for HSMP if you think you can qualify but do not think the letter can be used for that.

Hi! Im a little confused about applying for my new visa. I am currently on a Dependant visa which is about to expire in october. And wouldnt be able to extend because i no longer live with my husband.

Since im working with the NHS for almost 2 years as a Nursing Assistant, my manager didnt want to lose me and she is willing to support my application by making a strong letter but without the sponsorship of the trust. Which means i have to make the application myself and pay for it.

What i want to know is, will the letter be strong enough to make my application successful?
