There are several benefits and they all depends on your income or no income.  You will need to check with benefits office or in some cases Job Centre can also provide information.  Try your Council office. I don't have too much information this is just what comes out from my memory as I took a course in Benefits. You can also get housing benefits and council Tax benefits and they depends on your situation and income.  If you have kids, school councillors should be able to guide you better. Depends on your cit/town and if tehy have ONE STOP benefits office where they provide all information.
