Hi folks, could someone help advice me on this pls, My two year spouse visa wiil expire five months time and my wife as a british citizen is presently receiving housing and council tax benefit, how is that going to affect my ILR application.

Any kinds of benefits from Council is not looked favorably. Try to get off from these benefits. Only thing in your favor is that she is already here. If she was in a different country they refuse application sometimes.
