In the ILR form there seems to be no question that asks about the financial status of myself and my partner (I am not employed and my partner is retired) Is it a good idea to send details of our bank statements to show we are solvent

Thanks for your advice

Are you sure that you're looking at SET(M)?

Section 7 asks for Bank statements or building society savings book.

Section 10 asks for Documents proving that you can support yourselves financially. (Bank statements, building society, pay slips etc.)

You must send in 20 separate formal letters or documents in joint names proving that you have lived at the same address spread over 2 years from 5 different sources. If you don't have 20 documents in joint names you can send in 20 each in seperate names. If you are under 64 you must provide proof that you have passed the Life in the Uk test, or the equivalent ESOL citizens course.
