Life in The UK test include English also.  Once you pass the "Life in The UK" test, there are no more requirements.  I posted it before that when you receive the certificate for "The Life in The UK" test, it will certify and state that you do not have to take any other test. Please check my previous posts.

I found that post and I can paste the text that is on the certificate.

Following your test today in knowledge of life in the United Kingdom this is to certify that you have reached the level required for the purposes of naturalisation as a British citizen under section 6 of the British Nationality Act 1981. This also confirms that your success at this test demonstrates that your level of competence in English meets the required
standard for naturalisation. No further proof of this is needed. We shall notify the Home Office of this result electronically but please also submit this letter to them with your naturalisation application form and fee

HI

Can anyone clarify me that,do we need to take English test to apply for citizenship? or life in the UK test enough?

I called home office couple of times and first time I was told that I  dont need enghlish test if I have degree and second time they told me that I need english test.

can anyone help me in this regard
