450 days rule is not hard and fast rule, they can bend it a little.  You just have to show a good cause for your absence. You should not be out of the country for more then 90 days in the last 12 months.

Hopefully, you can figure out your entry dates to UK by Airline tickets or if you have stubs for them. I guess you can make your own dates but that is up to you, I cannot suggest you to do that.

I would consult a good solicitor or Law centre before applying.  You can also hold your citizenship till you can comply with their requirements. Another option is let your wife get the citizenship and you can wait, which will cost you more in application fee but it will be better then taking the stress of the unknown. Another option is if you both wait till the compliance and then apply.

These are the option that I can think of but may be someone else might have some more suggestions.

Good Luck on whatever you decide

Hi

I came to this country on 10th of Mar 2001 and wife on 20th of Nov-2000.

We both got Indifinate stay on 22nd of Nov 2004.As we both finished five years,we want to apply for the citizenship.

As I worked in Ireland for one and half years in the middle and my wife was working in UK during that period.

Whan I goes Ireland they do put stamp on the passport in Dublin airport and when I come back nobody cares in UK.So I had only dublin arrival stamps on my passport.I used to come to UK for the weekends.

Can anyone help me how to arrange the dates, which I wasn't in UK( my original dates are just crossing 450).Is it ok if I declare the dates according to the arrival stamps in Dublin airport

Thanks for your help in advance.

Regards
