hello
my husband and i are eea national and we both have been holding permanent residency for 5 years +1year. we are going to aplly for naturalisation as british citizen.
my question is regarding my daughter she is born in france but one month after the birth i was back in the uk.
she was deny permanent residency in the uk because she did not not satisfied the 5 years requirement. she will be 5 in may 2009. instead she was given a european national registration card.
if my husband and i are granted naturalisation can i apply straight away for my daughter registration as british citizen for a child? or do i have to wait the 5 years requirement +1 year?.
