Hello

Can anyone please advise on this subject. My parents are currently in the UK on a 2 year general family visit visa which is to expire in June.

Q. I would like to know which application form I need to fill in to extend their stay.

Q. How long can they extend their stay for i.e. months, years?

Q. Will I need to apply for them individually or on one application form (i.e. can one be dependent?)

Regards

Dear Sir or Madam,

It is not possible to extend a visitor visa beyond 6 months under the immigration rules however, the UKBA operates various concessionary policies and in exceptional circumstances the extension can be granted outside of the rules on discretionary basis.

Should you need professional advice, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0208 539 6611 or alternatively you can visit our website at www.ilas.org.uk for more information about our services.
